The YWCA, México D.F. is a sport center and culture that arose in the Thirties by initiative from a group of women of the Feminine Christian Association. At that time, thanks to a donativo were constructed the buildings destined for sport, this one considered Mexican an architectonic jewel of art-decó.

At the beginning of 2003, thanks to the support and collaboration of the Foundation of the Historical Center of the City of Mexico, A.C., were managed to reacondicionar three floors of the building of the YWCA, México D.F. to be used like lodging space. What meant the first actions to open the buildings and to benefit with it the community again that resides in the Historical Center.
